Plex Arts Festival Happened. Again!
On May 25th, 2024, the second annual Plex Arts Festival popped off in the Old North End of Burlington, VT. With an emphasis on DIY, experimental, and performance art, this festival was all about community, eccentricity, and letting it all hang out. In that spirit, I staged my third interactive painting project. Except, this time, I was the canvas! I wore a white(ish) suit, provided paints, and encouraged the public to paint me. My friend Jordan Douglas joined me - as a caricature of an old-school press man - to document the process.
And the result...
'Total Eclipse of the Art' in The Vaults, in Burlington, VT. Curated by SEABA.
Susan and I each had a piece in 'Visions of Totality' at the Highland Center for the Arts in Greensboro, VT. Curated by Maureen O'Conner Burgess.
On Saturday, April 6th, for one day only, Susan and I installed a pop-up show of our own eclipse related work @ new new art studio.
